We had the easiest run in and nearly failed and I'll leave it at that.
We are both not a fan of Dyche and want to get rid of him sooner than later.

Might be, but if you are in a relegation battle it's even worse to lose games against teams that around you. Which we did in the last 2 games under Lampard with West Ham and Southampton, but we also lost vs Bmouth, Leicester or Wolves at the end of the first half of the season.

We didn't lose these games under Dyche luckily.

Leeds (w), Forest (d), Leicester (d), Wolves (d), Bournemouth (w)

We were damned to get these results as Wolves, West Ham or Bmouth massively improved the 2nd half of the season and Villa went on a run.

I've written the response to this a few times now and cba doing it again mate, sorry. We had a quite fortunate draw, nearly [Poor language removed] our pants against Leicester as we *had* to play Keane, we lost to Fulham who had no striker or manager, etc.

He has carried us for large swathes of this season

Him getting a 2-3 month injury would be such a disaster next season, would be even bigger impact than when Doucoure picked up his injury in the middle of December and the form dropped right off.

You get 30 + starts out of those two again next season and there's still a decent chance of staying up regardless of who is in the other other positions as they're just very solid players generally, would probably put Myko in that category aswell.

The Doucoure injury bad run should've been avoided but we had no idea how to adapt.

Myko being out would truly be terrible as we're putting either Young or Godfrey there

Yes I remember, we had this 6 without a win under Dyche as well last season, while we lost against Fulham in bad game in a game we should have gotten a better result. But we talked about teams in a relegation battle and Fulham wasn't in all season. Fact is, we got better results against those teams in the 2nd half of the season.

It was a horrifying game to watch. Pickford saved a pen, Keane gifting them a few chances, us securing a 2:2 game against a tired Leicester team and leaving Gray on the bench and not pushing for the win. In the end, this game was still crucial of surviving, not matter how we got the result.

Losing that would have meant, we would have been entirely depending on winning us and Leicester not getting more than a draw. They would have been 1 point above us on day 37 + goal difference.

Well they weren't but they were there for the taking (and being taken at the time by others) and we failed, as we did with other games.

I just want us to win games we genuinely should so we don't have to watch what X does versus Y as we were inept again, really.

Relying on other teams is the worst thing to do. I want us to win games too. It's the same this season, I take happily that teams like Luton or Forest didn't really exploit our 13 games without a win. But this doesn't help as long as we don't win. We have it in our own hands when we play them.

I rather lose 2 and win 2 than 4 draws. But would you take a win vs Liverpool, but a loss vs Forest or rather the other way around? Both give 3 points, but one gives us distance to Forest, one would be a prestigious win and horrifying loss against a team around us.

I mean I'd also take 6 points over 4, not gonna lie lol

I don't give a single crap as long as we win - we just have games that we should be able to either win or do well enough, yet we're still (as one is against Burnley) going for the safe route.

It's football, 80% is the result, if you don't deliver you have to go. We got to win these next games to be save on day 37 latest.

We have to go to an Arsenal on the last day that might be in a title battle still, while Forest plays Burnley and Luton against a Fulham that plays additional non important game, cause they are safe in dire mid-table.

Whole team has lost a bit of the intensity they had out of possession from earlier in the season. We’re looking shakier defensively as a team it’s putting more pressure on centre backs. Been a fantastic signing for us.

Ive said this before. Over the past few years playing centre half for Everton is a thankless task. There are far more expensive centre halves in this league that make errors but tend to play in teams that the midfield and forwards bail them out so their errors are not highlighted as much. No such joy at Everton.
You can dissect tarkowski and many do. Every single defender makes mistakes. But he's played every game and only the top 3 currently have let in more goals. For as much as the rest of the team have failed to put the ball in the net and get points tarkowski is a big reason that our GD is worth another point down there.
For a free transfer he's been great.

Cannot think of a better signing we have made in recent years.

He's got his limitations, and has even been poor of late, but overall he's been a good signing.

Thinking of him as free transfer and many who have passed, he is brilliant signing. Love his attitude and work rate. Every defender make mistake, even the best ones.
