Yeah, I don’t want to hear any bleating about selling Branthwaite, Pickford, or the tea lady because the club desperately needs a purge and full rebuild now. As much as I like Pickford and Branthwaite (and rate both), they’re not part of a solution on the pitch anymore - as their respective displays last night confirmed. We need to tear it all down and dream it all up again.

In isolation, the Pickford, Mykolenko, Tarkowski and Branthwaite 'defensive' group are all very good together.

The weakness is always the right back.

If we brought in a right back, then we still have a medium term issue due to Pickford and Tarkowski's ages.

If a promoted team were looking for experience at the back and we could sell for a decent amount (Pickford also) then it makes sense to so so.

Selling Branthwaite and Mykolenko makes little sense.

Right at the end, he made a beeline for the fella who gives the players drinks. The arl fella was absolutely made up. He's seen us getting stuffed left, right and centre against this lot and you could see how much it meant to him.
