Then he got in O'Brien's way when he was favourite to clear the ball that led to their goal and bollocksed his clearance header up.

Needs to do a bit better than his recent form - equaliser against Liverpool apart.

Reckon he's just a year older, a couple of knocks have caught up with him and he's a half yard slower adding to the bad decisions. Hopefully full backs are on the radar in the summer, OBrien moves to central and we have Tarks as a very decent back up next season.

He does have these clumsy moments but he did get a few important clearances away, especially towards the end. Still solid enough most times.

I've got a lot of time for Tarks, like most players in our squad, so I'll back him to return to form, Jags would have patches like this and come out on top again.

You can't compare Jags to Tawks. Jags was an absolute Rolls Royce. Tawks has a big heart and is decent but we need better to progress up the table.

Proper old school centre half, not the fastest, probably works on the door on his nights off. He has the levels of cocky snideness that I always wished Jagielka had.

He looks like a Lord of the rings extra. Honest and decent player. Always got tiime for the likes of him and Myko.

whilst he made a poor mistake for Mateta’s early chance he did avoid making a second mistake just before Sarr hit the crossbar - I’d have laid my house on him fouling Mateta there giving away a penalty in the process!
