Here's the thing about it though. It's definitely a red, but once again we're about to be subjected to months, if not years, of public outrage for tackle in a derby they won.Loved it
Dosent mean it wasnt a red card though
I thought the same thing. Got the yellow, then continued with the sarcastic clapping, smirking and talking. Should have received a second in my opinion and it would have be the right call. Given the yellow and continued on.No mention of Nunez disgraceful two shinned lunge at Pickford near the end surprisingly enough. Also I have to mention how Liverpool players constantly pressured the officials all night over nearly every decision, Jota rightfully booked for berating the linesman, who then informed the referee which led to Jota sarcastically applauding the linesman. Should that not have been a second yellow and a sending off ? I'm sure it would have been if the shirt was a different colour.
Also, VVD does the same to Alcaraz for example. Not a chance our fans are not screaming for a Red, and justifiably so.100% this. It was a stupid reckless challenge and he absolutely intended to follow through and clatter him, but not to actually injure him. It was a blatant red but not worthy of all the cryarsing since.

It is a bit weird. Look at the BBC right now. Here's the thing about it though. It's definitely a red, but once again we're about to be subjected to months, if not years, of public outrage for tackle in a derby they won.
These tackles happen constantly, someone brings up VVD's on Onana. You can find at least three of these for Suarez or Gerrard in their derbies.
Its when an Everton player isn't sent off for one that they want a Parliamentary inquest and don't stop belabouring the thing for a year that we just can't be bothered with it all.
So what is your stance? Seems very weak. Tarkowski got their first made the play way before McAllister even arrived. We all know the refs decision. So there is no point in raising that. It’s a complete waste of time.
Are you suggesting players have to stop their leg immediately after kicking a ball? Macallister was nowhere near the ball. Was never going to win it, why is he there?
You mean this guy Dyche? It was a tackle that Dyche would be proud of.
