2024/25 James Tarkowski

That's a really odd response. You should be embarrassed assuming you are an adult.

Former Everton striker Duncan Ferguson said on Sky Sports: "There is no argument. Straight red. Back in the day, you might have got away with that.
"That could have been a leg-breaker but that is a straight red all day long. He should have given the decision on the field but that is a straight red. Terrible decision.
"

Judas.

You can stick that new book of yours up your arse, you ungrateful thick get.
Have to say I was disappointed with his comments.
Ref and VAR thought it was a yellow, all he had to say was refer to that and maybe talk about inconsistency or the old ‘you’ve seen them given’ line.
There’s enough pundits who can’t wait to stick the boot in without him joining them.
Much as I’m not keen on Moyes, thought he handled the challenge well in the presser.

In a still image it looks like a red, but I'm in exact agreement with you.

They slow these challenegs up so every tackle looks like a leg breaker.

The Argentiain cry baby got up and waltzed about the pitch for the next 80 odd minutes.

My complaint is that Tarkowski didn't hit him hard enough. As has been said by others: Macalister likes handing it out and leaving a foot in. He'd have had no room for complaint IF Tarkowski had fouled him...which he didn't.

The whingeing off the fans of a football club who butchered 39 people in a football stadium is off the charts barking mad, btw.

The only focus of the so-called pundits after. Nevermind the obvious offside for their goal, that is by far the worst decision of the game.

Defo.

The Galloot was trying to curry favour so he could be asked back by Sky again to be a pundit. He's always got his eye out for a pay day...even if it means throwing Everton under the bus.

Physics, that what we are talking about here. For me, it is natural for the leg to continue after booting the ball. It is no different to a player clearing the ball/shooting, while stood up, and a player coming across to try and block the clearance/shot. The leg will continue forward and make contact with the opposition player.

If the ball was at the feet of the 'tackled' player and Tarkowski missed the ball then the reaction of definite red card is valid. It was not a challenge, it was him sliding to boot the ball as far away as possible, the ball was loose. There was no chance, after Tarkowski decided to slide into the ball, that Macallister was getting to the ball first. Unfortunately, for him, he ran into the path of the foot.

A footballing incident.

That's what Liverpool do so well: control the narrative. They have loads of helpers down the ear of tv companies and the press telling them "this is the talking point".

It's proof they're part of the Establishment.

Is his new book called " How many cones do you want out today Carlo"?

Exactly. What's Tarkowski supposed to do - win the ball then make himself disappear?

It's pathetic hearing Evertonians slagging their own player off for winning a tackle.

They're under the sway of the Kopite run media and repeating their garbage.

They need to look at themselves.

He can win the ball, be forceful, even catch the man if he likes without putting in a red card tackle.

If he can’t, he shouldn’t be playing at this level.
