I don’t buy tarks saying it wasn’t intentional. There was a period under dyche where he was doing that week after week and getting away with it. God knows how he stayed on the pitch.

It was utter stupidity, if he’s sent off on 12 mins we are totally stuffed.

Self imposed martyrdom. The same Pickford couple seasons back when dared to challenge Van Willy and knocked his knee. It's kind of willingly know our place that some subscribe too.

You make a good point there. I think us football fans always want something to moan about.

I still feel that it is nowhere near as black and white as people are making. The action of kicking a ball, that was it. There was a still of him making contact with the ball and you could see Mac Allister's position and he was simply trying to block the ball and was easily far enough away to call it a footballing incident.

The abuse, even if it was a proper red card offence, is absolutely vile and it is says a lot about the state of society (and the state of them especially) that I would doubt many of us are that surprised. I would punish them by rounding them up and have them actually talk to Tarkowski and his wife face to face. Any time somebody commits online abuse have to be forced to have a face to face with whoever they are abusing. Put a camera there and watch them squirm like the pathetic waste of spaces they are. If they do back it up and have the guts to double down then lock them up for a bit.

I think we might be in the minority here but I agree, it’s a bad optics image, is it a foul? Possibly not a red in a million years. He goes in full blooded and definitely deserves at the very minimum a yellow for the intent. But mate… we have seen this challenge 100 times from their snides. I’m so happy we are serving some snide back, we may have lost but at least we have a modicum of passion to serve back to them- that’s all we have ever asked for.

Delusion is something we try and attribute to the RS. It was a reckless tackle from Tarks and should have been a red. Having an issue with an ex player and coach suggesting something that’s true rather than pretending it’s not is dumb.

A very simplified view. And badly articulated, too.. BUT if you are going to try to be Mr Clever or Mr educated or Mr experienced Evertonian here, then do it properly and also expect a response. I, for one, will call you out.
