theres a rumour or two about mccarthy falling out with martinez too, not spoked properly for a few weeks according to the guy who told me.

Apparently Martinez accused a few of them of going out for a drink (and a lot of people know McCarthy doesn't bevvy at all) and he didn't take well to it.

Not sure if i believe it but would explain the lack of fight from a lot of the players.

I suppose that could be true, but seems massively unlikely to me. More unlikely than if it had been about almost any other player in the squad.

I am told Seamus has had his head turned big time by Chelsea.

They are constantly in touch with his reps and club.

Given that he's arguably both the best RB and the best RWB in the Prem, I'd be surprised if it's only Chelsea constantly inquiring about him. Hardly something worth worrying about.

Think the problem with us being so pants at the moment and the way football is at the moment (i.e you are either the best team that ever graced the planet or you are in turmoil and everyone is leaving, press, fans & players all have this thought now I think) that it will be hard for us to attract players in January as we are absolutely awful on the football pitch at the moment so im not holding my breath on young exciting players. Expect a Mark Hughes, David Ginola, Gazza, Kone style signing

Would like to see Bolaise and Redmond looked at .. Both have bundles of pace and actually put the fullback on the back foot, both quite young aswell. Long term the goalkeeper and CB positions need to be addressed. A partner for stones is defo needed.. Would have went for Caulker last summer.

£22M + and he can go. As much as I really like Seamus if his head's been turned then he can leave, now is not the time to have players who aren't fully committed.
