He used to be ace, not sure anymore. Remember him as a penalty-specialist.
I'd of sold him last year, I said so at the time.
He's still our best left back IMO but he's peaked and it's all down hill from here but the money would help us strengthen in other, weaker areas.
Last year we had a very able left back in Oviedo ready to step up and a good young left back in Garbutt.
Right now we have 3 boss left backs but glaring weaknesses that the Baines money could have sorted out.
I said similar with Jags, we should of been trying to get 12-15 million off someone pre world cup when his stock was high and getting in a younger replacement.

For me his signing was vital for us in so many ways. Hurts my nuts to read other Evertonian think like that...but ofcourse youre entitled to do so.
I agree the signing was more about the message it sent out, hence why I was happy enough he stayed however practically, I think we'd of had a stronger team on the pitch if he'd been sold and the money spent on someone like Delefeou and £7 million centre half.

Like everybody else his form has suffered this year, he has said he has been carrying an injury all season.
The only clubs Seamus would leave Everton for are Celtic and Manchester Utd, Celtic won't be happening anytime soon. United on the other hand may just be another story. If the money is right I think he could be off. Every player has a price, £25m for a player of his age and his position seem's like a fair deal.

Doesn't strike me as a Mourinho type player, Ivanovic rarely passes the half way line or Azpilucueta for that matter. Think they are sorted for full back's giving they also have arguably the most impressive left back this season in Bertrand out on loan at Southampton. Azpilucueta can also play right back as cover for Ivanovic.

Sounds like the sort of Eastern European talent we need to take a "punt" on as opposed to paying colossal fees.
That said, he's linked with everyone right now it seems. Another one of those players that's easy to throw into an article to get hits, in my opinion.
Said it before, we should go for Cech.
