but they did offer him a contract it was just reduced wages and he wouldnt be a starter, so he turned it down. so he will be going where the money is in America (where he will be on more then we can pay him anyway).


there is a massive difference in being a millionaire in liverpool and being a millionaire in new york.

Playing for a pretty average Espanyol side and still recovering from a bad injury. Good player but not that tall for a centre back, could be another Heitinga. I'd be happy for us to get Corluka and Konoplyanka this window and any decent loans. Just imagine Kono and Mirallas on the wings with our full backs. 2 or 3 players could transform our team.

The weather isn't any different, apart from skyscrapers and gun crime I can't think of anything that would make me want to live there. Ok for a 5 day trip, same as London.

If we signed the pair of them id be delighted. Konoplyanka's contract is apparently up in the Summer too so could be an affordable option.

Whats with the Corluka shouts??? Slower than Barry n defo not what we need. People still drinking from xmas!!
Shawcross all day for me but wont happen. Exactly type we need at the mo.
