If martinez has any sense, or if anyone at the club has any then we need to sign players.

If nothing else but for moral, sign a couple of decent players with a defender and set out to start winning games this month. Could revolutionize the season.

Its funny that all the wigan players are being bought by palace / lesiecter etc and yet we also have signed them.

McCarthy aside does that prove robles / alcaraz / kone are no better than lower league teams?
 
Seriously my faith in Martinez will go from low to non-existant if we don't sign a centre back in Jan or at least get someone like Reid or Schar on a pre-contract for the summer.


Sadly my faith in him also rests in the hands of Kenwright and the transfer delegation team of which I have none! lol

Schär is absolutely perfect for a team that attempt to play from the back. I can't think of a more appropriate affordable player for our system. He's been excellent in the CL this year - his close control and distribution are outstanding, while he's also quick and brave. Sadly, I expect several other teams will be in for him.
