Lennon rings a lot of alarm bells for me.

You know the type, they sign for a midtable/lower down league team and they can get their career back on track after being frozen out at their old club. Then they slowly dwindle into nothing afterwards without much of a mention on sky sports.

A loan for the season and chance to impress yes, any actual transfer no.

Loan Lennon, why not. Bit of pace and directness. Strikes me as being better than McGeady and certainly Atsu. Will get to the byline a lot and cut back for Rom.

Im hoping we keep eto'o and Kone goes to Real Sociadad ( he was linked with a move to them in December)

I think if Lennon signs, it will probably see Pienaar heading out the door, which is a bit of a shame, but he has'nt been near the first team much this season, I think he has made about 8 appearances in total and some of those were in europe.

I heard a Tottenham fan say that Lennon "retired" a few seasons ago, does'nt go past players like he used to because of injuries. I would be in favour of a loan first, though I think he would have options for a permenant transfer, to someone else in the league
Loans from Spurs dont generally end well for us, see Pienaar!

He was utterly BRILLIANT whilst on loan back from Spurs.

Because, to re-have an old debate, id say that for 4 million quid he did well for us last year and the year before. This year - yes, understood, not great as he's played about 80 seconds due to various injuries.

Imagine if we signed Lennon, he could be our new working class hero, it would be just like starting over for him, we need to embrace this idea for all you need is love. At the moment he's just a nowhere man watching the wheels go round and round, looking for a ticket to ride. If you don't like the idea, hey, you've got to hide your love away and give peace a chance. But where would the money come from? we need a revolution or just accept the continuing story of bungalow bill.
