That Argie Romero was said to be going cheap wasn't he, keeper. Dunno if he's any good but he's more handsome than what we've currently got and that's a start.

Would honestly go in for McManaman (wigan I know), Everton fan, maybe too feisty and passionate in games (prone to bad tackles), but he never stops going at people, never stops fighting. We need someone like that.

or we could get someone with the same characteristics as well as being a good player?

If you look at Southampton, who have spent wisely, who would have thought losing your core of players would have them challenging at the top end of the table.

exactly, we'd have a much better squad to build on selling 2 players than the position they were in, albeit they got stupidly bankrolled by stupid prices paid by united and liverpool.

25mil+ is a lot of money for a right back, Shaw is English and they can get a decade out of him so of course a bit more based on potential.

Mirallas isnt signing an extension. Thats pretty clear.

If it was me, I'd sell them both +get in Depay and Deulofeu and possibly Byram.

Thats a bit more phenomenal.

this is exactly my thinking. it's a right back who doesn't particularly want to be here if reports are led to believe. can easily get cheap atttacking right backs for this league, you wouldn't say city and chelsea are the best two because they have great right backs. we can do some great strengthening whereas united will be gaining a good right back.

it's why i see these reports today of real after de gea for £35m. why? teams don't exactly create a vast amount of chances against them, why splash £35m, just need someone competent enough to make a couple of saves a game. barca have done fine recently with no great keeper in valdes.
