No chance. They'll be too busy bonding.

To busy on camel safari to sign any players

Just checked, yeah it's Saul Niguez off Atletico. There's agents working for us over there sorting it. Loan, but perm if he impresses.

We have been interested in him before so wouldn't surprise me. Looks like the injuries to Macca & Gibbo are worse than Martinez is letting on....

Marshall now odds on to join us. 1/2 at the bookies. Very good all round keeper, pass backs are his only real weakness. A vast improvement on what we have.

Not 2 weeks ago the bookies stopped taking bets on him joining us and it didn't happen. So wouldn't use that as a guide.

Hope he does though. Good keeper.

He's going to be screwed if back passes are his weakness.
That's literally 90% of our game plan.

He has improved remarkably in that aspect but it was from a position of extreme weakness from his early days at celtic. He is relatively comfortable with short passes from the back but under any type of pressure he is still liable to make a mistake. It's my only criticism of him and realise that what you said may cause him an issue, but it's not really under those circumstances that he struggles. The rest of his game is very competent. His shot stopping is outstanding.

I hope they're still going to be people working on transfers while we're wherever we are doing warm weather training but it really wouldn't surprise me if we left it until deadline day and made a Stracqualursi-esque boring loan deal with someone like Januzaj who'll just end up back at United in the summer.

"Apart from [Eto'o], I'll be very surprised if there's any major changes," the 41 year-old told evertonfc.com.

"I think the players we've got out injured are going to be back very soon and I want to see that continuity and a strong squad coming out and showing how strong we can be in the second half of the season.

"The squad is strong enough. We have been missing too many players, even to the extent of losing someone like Christian Atsu who was getting stronger and it would have been a good period for him to be available.

"When he returns from the African Nations Cup he can join some players that will make us really strong again in numbers.

"Clearly the quality has always been there and we showed last season that the squad is good enough."

Sooo... We'll go with what we've got?
