Have you been watching the under 21 games? The kids have a long way to go in terms of development, they defiantly arnt ready this year, especially compared to the first team players.

If mcaleny isnt ready now then he never will be. Im not really bothered as long as osman, mcgeady, howard and pienaar definitely never play for us again, and also as long as cleverley never joins

Get rid of howard, joel, distin, gibson, pienaar and mcgeady. Promote browning, ledson, mcaleny and long to the first team properly, sign 2 proper goalkeepers and a winger or 2.

I don't disagree with who you want to get rid of but the youngsters you quoted are simply not better alternatives at the moment. Mcaleney has had a year out with injury so is behind in his development.
