.....well this is it folks, the final day of the January transfer window and here’s what the newspapers are saying this morning as the remaining hours tick down;

- Everton have confirmed on their official website that pending a medical, Sandro Ramirez is set to spend the rest of the season on loan at Sevilla.

- The Times Paul Joyce has tweeted that Everton are weighing up a loan deal for Manchester City’s back-up Centre back, Eliaquim Mangala. 26 year old Mangala arrived at City 3 years ago in a deal that eventually cost £42m because of the players complicated image rights. Sky Sports sources reveal Everton are confident of tying up a deadline day deal.

- According to 4th Official, Middlesborough are looking to push through a loan deal for Everton’s 25 year old midfielder, Mohammed Besic. The Liverpool Echo say negotiations are at a preliminary stage.

- SkySportsItalia report Davy Klaassen has been given the green light to move to Serie A giants Napoli on loan. Apparently both clubs have agreed terms and the only remaining obstacle is the players image rights.

- SkySportsItalia also claim that Sevilla have reached a deal to sign Inter Milan’s Croation midfielder, Marcelo Brozovic, on loan with an option to buy for €29m. Everton have been strongly linked with Brozovic in recent days.

- The Daily Mail suggest Everton are closely monitoring Hull sensation, Jarrod Bowen, and are keen to sign the young attacking midfielder.

- Guardian journalist, David Hytner, says Everton Forward Oumar Niasse will be going nowhere in this window despite considerable interest in the player.

- Toffeeweb website quote sources in Belgium suggesting Sunderland are close to signing Everton winger David Henen on loan for the remainder of the season. The players contract expires in the summer after which he will be a free agent.

Great work this month mate. Thanks for all the daily updates.

Can't wait for the summer updates.:cheers:

We were terrible when Sam arrived at times we have improved slightly, but it's unfair to judge him properly until he's had this window to try and sort things out. Koeman did leave us in an awful mess with many players who just haven't worked out, some even turned on the club, some issues have been sorted and hopefully a few more will be sorted today.

If we want to progress as a club he needs to go

Roma can't get Daley Blind... so instead they sign a left back from Sporting Lisbon ...

AGAIN.... HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!?!? Where are these available left backs coming from?!? It's unbelieveable!

Jonathan Silva was seriously good on some of the old Football Managers, would take Blind if he was interested in coming here.

Genuinely think Blind would be a good signing.

There's no obligation to buy. With Cleverley there was.

We've set the fee but if another bid comes in that's higher, we wouldn't have to accept Sevilla's offer.

We've basically given Sevilla first refusal.

Think you're misunderstanding the agreement mate, Cleverleys one for example was if they met certain targets they had an obligation to buy - no choice they had to at the fee arranged. So a deal very much in our favour in reality as we wanted shut and it was a decent fee.

With this - Sevilla have a pre arranged fee for the player should they wish to make the move permanent in the Summer - no other club therefore will offer more as they know it makes zero sense to do so, they would just match that 7.9m figure already agreed upon, so if he does spectacularly well, we will lose him for that fee - and can't stop it.

First refusal at a set pre agreed price - which if he sucks they will just say nah too, if he does well they will get him at a bargain, sorry mate it is a poor deal for us no matter what way you want to look at it.
