Glad we are waiting til the summer to bring a forward in. None of this panic buy rubbish in the middle of a transition season.

I think it’s sensible, the striker crisis has been magnified by no one claiming as their own. It’s definitely a clear area to address and I’m happy to increase the budget for a top slotter in the summer than overspending on what’s available for super inflated fees now.

Brands doesn't seem the type who would go for short term fixes. I'd be very surprised if we spent big money in January.

I don't think we will, some stuff recently suggesting we have our eye on a striker but the player is not available till the summer.

No point buying either, if what you've got in front of him is dross. Which it currently is.
