I think that applies only to players on non-professional scholarship contracts.

The u-21/23 players will mostly have pro contracts afaik.

Someone with better knowledge of the youth system could answer this better than me.

A loan is a decent idea, maybe with Niasse out on loan so we have little outlay...I doubt we have much to spend

..if the story is true, I wonder of the loan might be more to do with the lad failing to impress at Inter. Inter apparently want a permanent deal but we might consider it risky.

Was a great prospect only a couple of years ago , one thing for sure is the lad can finish , has a bit of everything in front of goal.
I think he would benefit playing under Silva , at the prices being quoted (15 mil) i wouldnt bother about a loan. If he done well on loan his price would rocket , just sign the lad up its a no brainer.

..he has a very sweet left foot and as you say knows where the goal is. I wouldn’t argue with your assessment, given how much we paid for Niasse and Tosun.

And at 22 years old he fits in with the profile we are looking to sign. Young established players, with their best years ahead of them.

Not foreign ones.. only 11-18yrs old from this country
