Its incredible how Leipzig landed upamecano, Mukiele and Konate from France...3 of their backline and all of them looking very very good from day 1.

Hopefully we compete with leipzig i future for players like the 3 i mentioned when they are emerging in france and elsewhere.

@boris did you hear if the player was still in france or just that he was french?

RBL can sign players and give them time to develop as their league is of a crap standard mate . Same as Monaco , Dortmund etc. they can sign highly rated players and bed them in while still winning and give them cl games and sell for massive profits, we can’t do that as to even get European football in the prem you have to be at it most weeks. Signing 3 players from the French league and putting them into our back 4 would more than likely have us near the bottom of the league
 

Interesting aboyt Andriy Lunin who we were heavily linked with in the summer.

Strange he doesnt think we would have gotten a permit as hes first choice for Ukraine.

Thats true but we could have signed them all in the squad and brought them through...these guys are getting very high ratings in germany from day 1 so should be decent enough in a squad to begin with.

And im saying he scores goals wherever he plays, he might be a "winger", but the days of the winger finding the touchline and whipping in crosses are gone, hes a wing forward, its his job to score goals.

Playing him as a Striker hinders the team, cos he isnt a Striker, he doesnt know how to lead a line.

Lots of factors, Ukraine have quite a low ranking, different rules of course in Spain, but would a 10m transfer meet the criteria in this country?

Hes not really first choice, hes played in friendlies I think, but no WC/EC qualifies.

Im sure Brands knows.

Or they can go to Germany and play from day 1, rather than what most clubs in England do with young talent which is to ease them in slowly.

Im confident if the fee is in the top 15% then it qualifies...for Lunin perhaps one of the permits granted for 'exceptional talent' (unless theyve been stopped now). For the fee (similar to Onyekuru) perhaps we could have loaned him for a season?

Its heartening to read that hes after these types and interesting that he was linked in the summer in the media.

That was yesterday, could be decent as a deep playmaker but very versatile.
