Interestingly we've now been linked to 3 top class 25 year old CBs in Koulibaly, VVD and now Manolas (18months later once again).

They're all big lads who can play a bit as well.

That can't be blamed on Moyes though. He was still a good pick, it just hasn't been the best deal in hindsight.

EVERTON MOVE FOR MANOLAS

Everton have made an initial approach to Roma for Greece international centre-back Kostas Manolas, according to Sky in Italy.

Toffees boss Ronald Koeman is keen to strengthen his defence this month and the 25-year-old, considered one of the best centre-backs in Europe, is among his targets.

Manolas has played over 100 times for Roma since a £10.8m move from Olympiakos in 2014 - and he has made 18 appearances this season.
