Southampton in a right mess atm. According to their forum ITK who seems well respected there were players absolutely ripping into the manager after a recent match, like full mutiny.

That could mean VVD would want out ASAP and that the board would want the money for a squad/managerial overhaul, or it could mean that there's no way the board would sanction a sale as it would cause more unrest...who knows.

Daaaaaaaaaaaang that is nice, so who are we thinking? A defender that costs money? I would love VVD but Southampton has said they are not selling and he has bigger teams after him. Maybe Manolas or Gimenez? Winger has to be Depay

VVD will be on the radar of Chelsea, City and United come the summer. It's now or never. Very slim chance but he loved working with Koeman and now after the purchase of schneiderlin his ex team mate, just might consider us as an option.

Unless he's one of the ones who ripped into the management...

Also rumours flying around there after sahko for 20m, French so fits the manager, but can't see them spending that much on a fonte replacement as they tend to buy cheaper than they sell for in the position which could vecthem prepping for Virgil going

In fairness to esk, he tweeted earlier this afternoon that Depay would be next in and has been saying for a day or 2 that we have already made an offer for Van Dijk and we will go in again. So if it is Van Dijk and Depay then he's getting some info.

I said that yesterday, if the spend £20mill on Sahko then Van Dijk is off as they wont spend that on a player without a big sale. They get a Van Dijk replacement and about £20-30mill cash to bank.
