I have neither heard of Belfodil or seen him play but having looked him up, his goal scoring record is pretty rubbish and he has never spent more than a season at a club. Also didn't get called up to the Algeria squad for the AFCON.

I mean £8.5m isn't a huge amount anymore but still...

Hmm, if Valencia is going back to W.Ham (which I doubt) then maybe.

I dunno. Berahino and Valencia are very similar in terms of the 'template' of player - i.e. diminutive, quick, etc.

Belfodil seems to be a bit more of a 'target man' type.

So I reckon Belfodil would currently compliment what we have more than Saido would, if you get me.

That being said, I'd be happy if it's either of these two as they're an improvement on what we have, though I do have my doubts over Berahino.

Don't know a thing about Belfodil though so tbh my opinion is relatively useless.
