Okay in a pure player assessment who has the mobility to move up and down the field with the team at pace other than Davies and Holgate? Gomes is too slow but can make the passes, Schniederlin can't do either the majority of the time, Davies can move but very inconsistent with passing, Delph just doesn't seem to be in the right place at the right time, JPG unknown right now...

No one does. I just include Davies and Holgate in the nobody. We need to completely revamp the midfield. Holgate covers ground well but his positioning is so so (to be expected when you've never played the position tbf) and we haven't seen him play in a midfield that actually tries to pass the ball. I'm not listing him as a part of our midfield of the future.
In fact I really don't think there are many people in the squad worth penciling in past the next year or two. We are very average.
