Then we could have lots of interesting discussions of the Airplane variety like, "Would you pick Under over Over, or Over over Under". Sadly, I can't see any scope for, "We have clearance, Clarence". Just sum the amount we've squanderd in average players. Then try to imagine how much worse we'd be if we hadn't signed those average (in some cases, even, below average). At the end of this exercise just [Poor language removed] imagine how much money we'd have available to go get a couple of real quality players and how much impact they'd have.

We we sign only 4 players per season, in 3 seasons we will have 12 new players. If we pair those signings with youngsters coming from a proficuous youth setup...now we'd been on our way to something.
