To be honest I haven't got a clue who I'd sign anymore; can't work out what sort of setup Carlo wants. I like Gomes & Gbamin pairing.

Need to buy young players on an upward trajectory so we can cover any monetary outlay if we need to.
Other reason for that is that when you buy older players, even if they have been great players, when we buy them from bigger teams they're not hungry to do well. They see coming to us as a downward step and aren't normally as motivated to do well, regardless of wages.
I'd prefer us not to buy players this window unless they are quality players that make sense long term. Buying a good midfielder who is over 30 is just wasting money to me, the rest of our team isn't good enough to make sense doing that this season. Only time you should really look at it is if we think it will make the difference between us making champions league or not.
