Oh my god we aren’t signing Barkley. He isn’t and was never particularly good, he can’t play the role we need and going back for a player doesn’t work. He’s just local, that’s as all it is. You just have to look at the Davies and JJK threads to see this is all some people care about.

Personally I’d rather have one of the many better players out there who aren’t local because you know, they’re better players.

Makes no sense.

Barkley, whilst it probably won't happen, would improve our midfield massively and be an upgrade on the players we currently have there. I'd have him back, easy.
