That’s my thinking , unless he got a massive signing on fee him leaving RS on a bowman to get 88k when he would have proabably been on near enough that anyway doesn’t really make sense unless he really wanted to sign for juve and money wasn’t the main concern , which is unlikely
The 16m they paid is a mystery to me.
He was out of contract, so maybe they paid a signing on fee in order to get his weekly down?
