....good morning Blues, it’s Monday 20th January and here’s the Toffee transfer rumours;
- The Mirror claim Everton is the latest side to be interested in signing £35m rated AC Milan striker, Krzysztof Piatek. The Polish international has had a difficult time this season but scored 9 goals in the 2nd half of the previous campaign after joining from Genoa. Calciomercato reported in November that the 28 year old could be offered to the Toffees. Crystal Palace, Spurs and Sevilla are also being linked.
- According to Gazetto Dello Sport, Ancelotti has told the Everton Board that his ‘dream signing’ is Napoli central midfielder, Allan, but it’s an ‘impossible signing’. Instead, the club will try and find a ‘photocopy’ of the 29 year old Brazilian.
- Lots of outlets continue to suggest Everton interest in Juventus midfielder, Emre Can, who is open to a move to secure a place in the German squad for this summer’s Euro’s. The Express report the 26 year old has turned down a move to Manchester United because of his links to his previous club, Liverpool.
- The Matias Vecino saga continues, with Gazetto Dello Sport journalist, Tancridi Palmiri, saying Everton have contacted Inter Milan about the midfielder. FC Inter News report the Toffees remain the ‘most creditable option’ for the Uruguayan whilst Calciomercato reckon the 28 year old is on standby awaiting concrete proposals with Sevilla also making enquiries.
- According to The Mail, Everton are willing to let defender Matty Foulds leave this month to help him find a new club. The Toffees are prepared to subsidise the 21 year olds wages until his contract expires in the summer.
