I assume amortisation surely must be included in FFP - otherwise we are about £9 million from the threshold which doesnt include a net spend of £35 million from this year which will be posted next.

Basically we'll have breached FFP come next year if you're basing things solely of money in and out as I doubt our revenue has changed much in this season to last.

Add in Ancelotti being promised funds it wouldnt make any sense.

With this amortisation factor, and the lengths of contracts we gave out to Gomes, Gbamin, Kean, Iwobi, Delph, we will show as having spent £25m or so in players after June 30th 2019 until June 30th 2020 as things stand. We paid £7.5M for Lookman, I doubt add-ons up to £11.5m were ever triggered, we received a guaranteed £16m immediately, we will be posting £10m+ profit on him at least, £9m+ profit on Onyekuru, £2m for Robinson, £20m+ on Gueye, we signed McCarthy for £13m, he had one year left when we sold him for at least £3m, so not much loss or profit there.

This means we are, as things stand, with your amortisation factor, we are around £15m+ up on player trading until 30th June 2020.

But with losses of £124.9m for 17/18, 18/19, this would leave us at the limit or having exceeded the FFP 3 years of no more than £105m losses. We are going to have to sell some players at a profit (or somehow cut operating costs/increase revenue).

Do we amortize wages? Why on earth would we do that?

His injury history is fairly normal for a sportsperson of that age tbh. I'm far more concerned by Gbamins injury history which for a young player to have repeated thigh issues is not a great sign.
