Nah if we do it it’ll be last minute and probably actually detrimental to the squad. Doesn’t matter on the DoF, manager, owner or whatever it’s just the Everton way

Might speed up negotiations for Vecino at a fee more to our liking IF we are actually in for him, as the Inter squad has too many players to register now they've done Eriksson if they also want a striker, Giroud or Llorente etc...

We have 6 months for Ancelotti to really bed in what he is trying to do, and you feel it's important that this opportunity is not wasted.

I would also agree, that a lot of the senior players haven't been as consistent and we would hope. That has been a big issue and is probably driving the Vecino pursuit.

Bit he will be bedding in players that aren’t good enough , literally our whole midfield , probably our rb and Keane and not sure about the strikers. He will then need to reallace 5-6 players and he’s them in again . Should really try and get at least a couple in so the change isn’t so Massive in the summer
 
I heard 12 lads are going to Finch Farm to demand a meeting with Brands asking him what kind of transfer window is this. I'm hearing they are saying there was all this talk of this and that on twitter and on sportswitness and insidefutbol and the daily star and they're fuming. They are also asking why Paul Robinson and Darren Bent keep talking about Everton and Everton players - they're fuming.

...latest from Gianluca Di Marzio is that Inter have had a change of mind and are now inclined to keep Vecino.

No point in buying players till
He’s absolutely sure who needs replacing ( a quick glance on here will tell him that )
The right players are available
No point in buying just to get us up a few places and then realise they are not good enough long term eg Tosun and Walcott
