I'll be disappointed though if the same thing happens in the summer.

We are only just into February but this is a strong contender for pointless post of the season my friend. I will also be disappointed if we don’t make any signings in the summer, I think we should stand together on this.

Because I keep showing you up, I get it, I’d concede too if I were you.

No, because you are belittling of other Evertonians on here and ive seen you make personal insults at lads on here, its a football forum FFS, i saw you last night making comments about lads finishing school, lads like me are well able for the likes of you and seen it all before, but its a broad community on here and not everyone will realise you come from an insecure place, are on an ego trip and largely talk through your hoop. There is a great thread on here for posters around supporting mental health in adversity and belittling others undermines the spirit and respect of that.

Personally ive no time for you, but be careful how you treat others. Best of luck on the forum.

Club right to sit on their hands in my opinion, it’s a desperate window, rather develop what we got.

Big disappointment is outs, we’re not great at negotiating out deals.
This is my only real negative of the window as I did not expect us to make any significant additions because of Brands style and the issues with finances.

If we want to readjust the balance sheet, we need to move certain players on from the squad and allow a little more flexibility to bring in quality additions.

Hopefully, we are already looking at a summer reshuffle and start putting things in place now, so we get a full pre-season and start the season in a stronger position.

Gibson is an interesting one seeing as he's an England youth player and we signed him for a fee...also that posters watching our u23s rate him.

With the home grown rules we need these types of signings to supplement our youth ranks...hopefully he stands out at Fleetwood under Barton and we see him push his way into the 1st team squad next season.

I know we signed Branthwaite but it would be good if we were also in for more players at that level.

I think you have the regulate the intake of those type of players, you can have to many prospects and leads to Brendan Galloway, Garbutt situations - when is a prospect not a prospect anymore.

Arguably Dowell and Bowler are in getting into that category now - horrible injuries the lads picked up this week. But they dont seem to have ascnded in to a DCL or Gordon. If you get two like that out of a cohort it justifes everything though becasue if they make it, it pays for the academy for years.

What hasnt helped Brands is the ban on U 18's so i think we have seen a swell in 18+ players or lads who have already signed professional contracts.

He did, we made, about 7 mill on Mori, and crystallized a loss on Klassen though a big one, on balance though given his wages it was probably for the best. My point was replying to the poster who asked me a question

It’s not his fault we spent £27m on Klaassen the year before, that was the midget hunchback gargoyle’s fault.
