Haven’t seen Can since he played for Liverpool, if he still plays the same he’d walk into our midfield and improve it easily. He was a bit of a snide too which we’ve lacked for a long long time.

But seriously, he was once measured to being the 6th quickest player in the PL.....
I dont know how they measure these things, but it would at least put him in the upper-tier, no?

EDIT: THis is of course measured on ONE weekend, but seems he was clocked as one of the faster players at Liverpool as well.
Links here are just unsubstantiated reddit-posts, but the perception of him being slow seems wide off the mark.

We already have Richarlison, Bernard and Iwobi who can play his position.

We’ve witnessed nearly half a season with midfield options of Siggurdson, Sneiderlin, Delph and Davies getting the brunt of our minutes and people reckon Emre Can wouldn’t be good enough?

Not that we’ll be getting him like.

Can on loan would not be the worst move . He will be pushing to make the German squad too. He would improve us at the moment and reassess in may.

We're going to be in disagreement on his ability given you think he does it all in midfield. Haven't a clue why you've assumed I want him to have records at 100m sprints, it's OK for people to have different opinions to yours regarding players without comments like that.

I hope we don't sign him, and I reckon we won't.

Fair enough, and many wouldn’t want him as an ex red but I’ve just seen a number of comments about him being a slow player and I don’t really get it.

Personally I think he’d be a good fit as he’s a powerhouse defensively and we only really have Gbamin who fits that description (who I doubt will be at his best until next season).
