I too thought he would be good on a free in the summer. But I can honestly say we dodged a bullet there, glad we didn't bother! And I will safely say I'll never want him here now.

Regarding Keane, personally think he's off to Villa, he'll get a few games plus Dunne and Given can easily persuade him because he'll wan tto be in the ROI squad in the summer.

At a minimal fee, wouldn't be a bad addition as a squad player. Fellani and Rodwell will miss prob 10 game each a season through injury/suspension so would offer better cover than Neville/heitinga.

Obviously if we had some money would want better. Benega foe eg. But just can't buy that quality of player unfortunately. So the gibson's of this world is what moyes has to try and get the best out of.

I think Defoe can be ruled out of a loan move.

The way spurs our looking there's no way arry will let him go anywhere. With pav wanting out too, he's just not gonna weeken his strike force while there challenging.
