One player who won't be the subject of any further transfer talk is Landon Donovan, however, with Moyes reitterating that the prospect of him joining on a permanent deal is 'out of the question'.

"He's going back to Galaxy," added Moyes. "We'll always be thankful for the times we've had with him, so we'll continue to enjoy the next month or so."

People have been calling for a creative player, could this be it?

According to reports Everton are to make a last-ditch push to sign Blackburn Rovers winger Junior Hoilett.

It is understood that Toffees boss David Moyes is determined to land an attacking signing in the next 48 hours.

The Daily Mail claims that if a move for Rangers striker Nikica Jelavic fails, Moyes will turn to Rovers forward Junior Hoilett or Wolves striker Kevin Doyle.

Hoilett is out of contract at the end of the season and Rovers reckon they would receive £4.2 million in compensation if he left in the summer.

It's possible. It's basically the same story GOT has heard but replace Hoilett with Vossen.

I think a striker either way is nailed on.

if we signed this bloke i would be buzzing. thought he was quality last week down the left. surely loads of other clubs would be in for him though. id be even more excited that jelavic if this came off but like its been said, a striker must be a priority

I personally would prefer Jelly, having spent most of today checking out his goals on youtube and chatting online to Rangers fans he seems a decent lad. Also he wouldnt be cup tied for our run up to Wembleee! A cup final would more than cover his transfer fee if his goals got us there. However I do agree with people that Hoilett is a good player. However he is a winger, now when Baines, Coleman, Drenthe and for the time being Donovan are running the flanks and also a mention to Gueye (he didnt do much wrong the other night) I dont think Hoilett is a priority as I say I would prefer Jelly and sign Drenthe permanently.
