Agreed. Hes not someone id be after...neither is Adams.

Im hoping its all paper talk and Thelwell pulls out a rabbit
Me too, who do u like Zat. Sheff Utd lad looks very handy, depending which (if any) rumour is right (offer or player turned down) would keep knocking on that door. Add Sulemena and ideally a couple more and should be in a better place

Hoping to get someone with real pace and an eye for goal, we also need a creative number 10 type otherwise where are the chances coming from.

That Billal el Khannousis who was named the Belgium player of the year and the next KdB or someone like that.
Young and talented

What we’re getting is very uninspiring and screams championship

What I think @Nymzee was alluding to is that Adams could be the rotation with Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Meanwhile Gykokeres would be competing with Maupay.

You then have one target man (Dominic Calvert-Lewin/Adams) with a narky snide (Maupay/Gyokeres) causing chaos alongside them.

I wouldnt be surprised if we were trying for both at £30mil.

The remaining funds for Sulemana.
Sulemana is going to Southampton

Good I rather take a chance on this lad. Younger too.

Sky don't have a clue...a few days ago we were apparently for hakim ziyech...now supposedly this guy when he is actually playing as I am typing this. I guess eventually they'll get it right as per the rules of probability.

Why is anyone surprised by the likes of Che Adams and Ryan Fraser, this is who Sean Dyche is he wants a bunch of Brexit british grafters did you not watch how he operated at Burnley?
1. We were heavily linked with both well before he was our manager. Most likely Thelwell is looking at these players.

2. Dyche signed players like Cornet and Defour at Burnley as well, can’t just look at everything Burnley did and say it was down to him considering they were absolutely minnows in terms of the rest of the league while they were here, he didn’t get a chance to spend much at all.

Diaz is crap.
Diaz is off to potentially play Champions League football with Villareal next year but yet he’s crap. Good thing we avoided him so by your logic.

Mad to me that there’s still sections of our fans that not only have the audacity to turn their noses up at some players or managers but also act as though they’re utterly crap despite the fact they don’t watch them regularly and much better teams than ours are after them.

Was worse than that even, he left on a free before they were relegated as he refused to extend his contract by a few weeks when we had the Covid delay.
I don’t want him anywhere near Everton, however dangerous he sometime is, he’ll be awful here, but giving slight bit of leeway on this. If he’s a free agent and about to command an inflated salary more than he’s worth and signing fee, then if he extended for a few weeks then did his ACL, he’d have been an injured player with no salary and no rehab facilities. Would have been very principled and loyal to risk that, though fans would like to see that commitment.

Shocking timing as it did look really bad both on his attitude toward the club and fans, and very much against the Covid-battling spirit of the time.

We have been bad for a while but we generally finished mid table because we had ok attacking players. We need creativity Benitez got rid of all. We had in James and Digne. The only other one who created anything was Sig and he couldn’t play.

So we literally had no one in the team except Richy. Then end up in a relegation battle I don’t no what they thought was going to happen. so Benitez himself has to take a lot of blame.

We survived by the skin of are teeth with massive help from our best player Richy then we sold him. When it should have been a massive warning.

Frank didn’t fix the problem we never replaced what we lost originally never mind not replacing Richy. instead he bought McNeil who’s scored 9 goals in his whole career. Tried to make iwobi that creative midfielder when he doesn’t assist or score.

Now here we are still have no creativity in the squad if it’s not fixed this window we are done doesn’t matter who is manager.

Don’t buy that argument really. His contract was meant to run to the end of the season, he had a moral obligation to honour it. I’m delighted Howe has ended up in the same place and put him in the bin.

The lad will probably say Phil Jones plays for Man Utd to justify his claim.
