The price of PL status plus a 1/2 built stadium not to mention the overall share value hang in the balance having just sold your 2nd most valuable asset

in just 2 days they will have lost all opportunity of influence and hand over full responsibility of all of the above to a man they met about 3 days ago

What a crazy business

Theres an article in the echo explaining the profit loss premier league stuff and how the money from gordon and kean will effect us. Its worth a read. I havent got the skillset to post the article. Deffo worth a read.

Yeah impossible to do business outside of deadline day scraps innit.

Really grates me how we've proved entirely unable to sign a useful striker, we've been through so many many duds. Apart from Lukaku (and not including dcl as he's effectively a youth product), who was our last successful striker signing? I'm thinking Jelavic and he lasted barely a season

Gordon gone for £40 mill so welcome th Southampton bench warmer Che Adams for £30 mill.
Can honestly see something like this. £40m wasted on two bang average to poor players, when the likes of Bournemouth and Forest etc are shopping abroad and getting miles better value. Thelwell needs to do one.

Desperate for some good news in this thread.

Have we tried for an alternative to Danjuma at all?

Are we seriously considering not getting anyone else in, and ending the window with less attacking options than we started? When those options were initially poor anyway?

Probably Dyche hasn't been formally announced because he's buried under working on transfers and sorting his options. He firstly needs to work out his current squad, find out where the problems are and who isn't pulling their weight etc. Surely any incomings need to reflect the weaknesses he finds. We clearly need strikers but midfield and defence need looking at as well. He has three days
