Wouldn't make any difference, as we don't have midfielders to supply them.

Could have prime Ronaldo up there , it wouldn't make it any better.
Just be grateful we don't have current Ronaldo up there.

Moshiri could have gone for CR37 as his statement signings if he was willing to drop his wages.

We'd have been down before April.

How would we get a work permit?

We won’t. Fantastic player but I can’t imagine we can afford him or he’s willing to come here.

He would get a work permit I believe - played quite a few games in the Copa Sudamericana for Santos. The Brazilian league is also good coefficient wise to be able to qualify - good example would be that Joao Pedro at Watford, who got a work permit despite playing far less games

Also just realised he's played in the Libertadores as well, one of the youngest players ever to play in (at 17). Doubt we can afford him though, so the link is probably jarg

Been quite a few young, inexperienced Brazilians arriving this window as I think it’s becoming easier for them to get work permits. I think Brexit probably helps matters as it puts non EU countries on more of a level footing.

Yeah you're spot on - it is Brexit related; weirdly the Tory party line about 'attracting the best talent from all over the world, rather than just Europe' as a pro of Brexit has actually materialised for English clubs, they just haven't massively taken advantage yet. Shame it hasn't materialised anywhere else though
