I think he’s a good player and he shown that at Palace last season. Just don’t think he’s the type of player we need right now. Don’t think he offers a lot of creativity, not the fastest, and not positions we are lacking in. Think we need a player with pace, strength and creativity in the middle, we badly lack that in our squad.

We need goals from midfield.

Gallagher is a decent enough player but is our DoF aware of our priorities? Our midfield options are hardly ground-breaking but are we are crying out for at least two attackers and probably a full back as well.

We do need more players, but most important are goals throughout the team.

A striker by themselves doesn’t necessarily improve us, it’s the service to them that ain’t there at the moment. It’s not as though Calvert Lewin is missing three or four huge chances per game and that’s the only thing wrong with the team. We barely make chances so an attacking midfielder could improve the output of all the other attacking players as well.

Mental that we’d blow all the Gordon money on a centre mid who we don’t need when we’re crying out for a winger and striker. Very Everton-like. Looks like he doesn’t want to come here though so that’s that. Our club is beyond ridiculous.

ok…that doesn’t answer the question of where in a 442 will he play, or what player drops out or how our productivity on the wing will improve? Every time I’ve watched Chelsea this season he’s been below par imo. The goals have dried up (sounds perfect for us then actually)

Good player is Gallagher he would have been a great buy in the summer for Franks 433 now we are going to play 442. We need a striker and a right winger more than anything.
