The last time he tried his methods at West Brom they failed and he was relegated. Big Sam has a 7 point plan for clubs when he goes to them, its the same thing he has used for years. The game has changed and moved on whereas Sam hasn't, his methods don't work anymore due to teams wanting to play the high press, it just invites trouble and will always lead to mistakes. You can't just sit back soaking everything up and hoofing the ball up to a big man up top hoping to latch on to a few knock downs or set pieces.
I understand that analysis.Up to a point i agree.
But Holland just came back hoofing up the park and got them back in it.????
Pep was a few down to Carlo in CL.
He didnt have Haarland but hoofed up top anyway.
FAILED , so went and bought Haarland , so he has that option.
So why do sides still hoof it.
The press isnt the begining and end of things.
What we do need is a pair of nightmare forwards.
At the very least the cause defences problems.
So how do you suggest we get out this mess.
Frank will get sacked by the 4Jan if he messes up tge next three.

By improving in attacking areas getting more goals int he team. Is not just forwards is the creativie side of the team. Lets see what happens next game plus woods is an awful shout will not help us out and sam does not fix this team.

To be fair we were desperate for him to stay on the following season to get us out the Championship. Plus once he sorted out our defence we played some decent football, 5 2 win at Chelsea and beating Wolves 3 1, he went because he knew he had to buy a new team and the Chairman wouldn't give him any money.
