But you heard Farhad in that FAB video, Thelwell identifies the targets then it has to be signed off by Kenwright who then asks Moshiri for the money. I agree it's an utterly ridiculous process, far too time consuming. It should be Thelwell with a budget doing the deals.

No company in the world is dishing out £10s of millions of pounds with only one board member signing off. Problem isn’t the process, it’s the tits in the positions of authority.

Overall it's a lack of planning and organisation from the board and ownership. They didn't back Lampard and they also didn't sack him until recently. Weeks have been missed based purely on ineptitude

Its our rivals as well - all have strengthened while we have weakened - its actually unbelievable, we are being cut adrift.

As i said during the week, imagine after Palace saying - we have to do same thing again next season from a worse starting position and we're selling Richarlison and Gordon - its bananas and thats were we are.

There will be riots.

Ive no doubt we will find a warm body, but we are down to very bare bones of our list of targets in my opinion, the management of this window has likely relegated us.
