We're in a bit of a catch-22 now at this stage of the window. We obviously need players. But we also need to avoid having our pants pulled down and buying players who won't improve us with money we can't afford to lose.

What an absolute disgrace that we've ended up here. Lampard should have been sacked after boxing day and an appointment made before the start of the window, and then a whole window to work out sensible deals.

Once again, we've literally done possible exactly wrong.

Players could have been signed in the last 5 days that he's been manager.

The board have hidden him away because he is a toxic manager for self respecting players, which is why no one has signed.
