I know but...my kingdom for a Che Adams level striker right now. When Calvert-Lewin inevitably gets hurt we've literally got Maupay and Simms to play upfront and that's it. Not even anyone on the bench. And it's not like we can just change from Dyche's preferred system because we also don't have enough competent wingers.

It is a good job that we are in a comfortable position in the league with plenty of options that a new player who can score goals is no longer required. Dyche is a good manager but it's a disgrace we haven't signed even 1 player, 1 new player with a new manager can change the atmosphere in the group so quick

I think everybody is struggling to put into words exactly how bad this situation is. I know I can't get my head round the situation that we've got to this point of the window, only just announced our new manager, sold one of our "better" players (I use the term very loosely) and not only not replaced him but not filled the gaping holes in the squad upfront as well. It is absolutely disgraceful.
