I think it kept us in the league and prevented a relegation tbh.

One of our issues is that we panicked far too often. It isn't panicking now because we are terrible but both Koeman and especially Silva were fairly unlikely to actually go down.

Between Coleman, Patterson, Godfrey and Holgate I'd say we've got that spot covered for a team who will only be playing once a week til the summer. Even Keane and Davies can do a job there in a needs-must scenario. So yeah, he'll probably be our only free signing now I think about it...

I think he’s playing too well and offering too much of a threat currently to be dropped for McNeil.

I also think the back 4 you named, was so strong last time they played together that we can accommodate 2 wingers and we can specifically tell them to get in the box as much as possible to support the front 2.

I don’t expect the full backs to over lap, just hold the fort and leave the attackers to it.

Excellent point. With the full backs being rigid and disciplined it gives the wingers far more license to do their job and make us more of a threat.

We need crosses flying into the opposition box and play the percentage game.

Had to do it to myself and watched Ayew goals and skills highlights on youtube...from Swansea days 6 years ago. Even his highlights mostly show feeble misplaced shots with the power of a 10 year old! Crikey me, and we can't even get him over the line!
