Look at Geordies. Got lots of money. Not really spunked it like we did and they got in a manager/coach who has improved the players they already had. Now with a platform they can go and enhance that squad to ensure a top 4 finish. It does appear from the outside their owners have a business plan and it looks to be working. Our business model is non existent.

I'm sure we were presented at the first new board meeting as an example of what not to do with the new money.

Several prem clubs already have transfers sorted for 1st January meanwhile we are still probably dithering on whether to pay over the odds for either gykores or brereton diaz because every club knows how desperate we are to sign a striker

Either him or Moyes, tbh I don't like either one but would prefer Moyes as Kenwright would bend over backwards to support/help Moyes with whatever he wanted which would obviously benefit the team.

Moyes has got a much better squad than ours at West Ham and is not doing a good job with them at the moment.

It's bad enough we got duped into paying £30m for Onana and you want us to pay the same if not more for Sarr? change Sarr for Joao Pedro and I might agree. Also why would a player like Trossard swap 7th place for 17th place, he is only going one way and it's not down.

We spent £30m on Onana, and for a club like ourselves in our position we need a player who is a bit more of the finished article, I fully understand why West Ham pulled out of bidding for him.
