January Transfer Window 2023

I know who he is. But why are you suggesting players you've never even seen before? Most of those names you linked have been flops so far this season.
If I stuck with who I primarily watch regularly my list wouldn't be that different than Thelwell's. A fact that would lend to continually overpaying for domestic based players that in turn continue our stagnation.

The good news is its 2022, where analytics and scouting are readily available from smarter people than I who can synthesis and or highlight profiles in lesser markets. All crucial in finding "value" in a subject club wise, dependent on it.

But if that's all just not good enough grounds to simply suggest a name on a transfer forum, alas. Following par course you can tell me I play FM too much even though I don't play at all and we can call it a day.

I mean, you do (the bold).

But still, I appreciate analytics however you just cannot say a player is worth signing without watching them, it's mind-blowing to even think that way.

"We should definitely sign this lad."

"Does he look good?"

"Not sure, never seen him play before."

Ok personally allowing only your own experience and or 1 to 1 knowledge base in a global sport as the only indicator of decision making I think is crazy. Agree to disagree.

Had I said any of the above messages I may understand the joke. Simply making a shortlist of players that seem interesting and that should be scouted and or others might enjoy. Maybe someone might find it fun to look up a highlight reel, read a piece or find a touch by touch breakdown etc. But considering as you've described nothing but a personal account on a player can be informative the consistent response to each of my post makes sense.

Lets just stick to debating Joao Pedro again despite I doubt most of us not watching the championship either.

Depending on Kyiv's need to bring in funds I'd go for Zabarnyi. He and Branthwaite to learn, develop from and push Coady/Tarkowski.

Theres some really top names available next summer so the top sides would likely go for them instead
A very intriguing player who removed of the current issues in Ukraine I expect would have moved already.

I can also confirm I've watched him play beyond highlight reels. But it's also ok if any of you have only seen highlight reels and are still intrigued by this as a possible signing.

It's almost like he didn't play in the PL just last year.

True, a fact likely reflected in the price that would likely make me think it poor business compared to other options. And regardless a fact i'd argue less relevant than his present form that currently has him scoring well in a league on tier or below many the players I thought were interesting, play in.

But premier league experience is premier league experience even if the production wasn't great. It's not like we ever make poor and expensive signings based on that distinction.

What are you even waffling on about

Issahaku has been linked for £35mil from Sporting.

Only 18 but already 8 full caps for Ghana and won the u20 cup of nations, being voted tournaments best player.

He looks a tremendous prospect but Gray levels of selfishness and lack of end producf.

Right winger.

Maybe in the summer dont see the point as the club will be trying to get rid of cb. And we need to use the money we have on attackers
