Need that type of player that runs in behind and takes players on. We have no one who will run direct with the ball or make those runs to turn a defence. Gordon started to do it at the end of last year but has regressed a lot.
We are the slowest team in the league by a mile.
Our starting forwards are all fast. We play slow, the players aren't slow.
We don't cover the ground quickly or press quickly, or run directly with the ball. I don't see any tempo or pace to the team.
When do we ever see a winger or midfield player run beyond the defence? When do we ever see our wingers take on their full back? Not saying we never do it, but nowhere near often enough.
