Sellable assets:
Pickford
Godfrey
Gordon

All the rest I don't see clubs paying what we want and their wages.

If we offload a Gordon to bring in 3 good players, I am all for it but we are a sitting duck at the moment and clubs will sit on their hands and wait until the summer to pick the bones off us.
We need to sell what we can and start getting the wages bill reduced for the Championship.

I can't see us getting out of this, but I'd like to see us try.

Sell Pickford and Gordon to give us some proper cash and ffp wiggle room. Get Mina, Keane and Doucoure out to free up the wage bill and just bloody get some creative players in who's arses don't fall to pieces in front of goal.

We won't of course, we'll give Iwobi and Gordon new contracts, dilly-dally about the manager's future all window long and bring some crappers late on in the window. The absolute worst thing about us, out of the litany of choices, is just how bloody predictable we are.

One problem

Why would anyone buy players off us for market value when they know they can simply get them for cheaper in 5 months' time?

Nobody is desperate for Pickford or Gordon. Nobody.

I honestly don't have much faith in this window at all, but 'Mosh' is an accountant by trade and after wolves and especially tonight he must be seriously twitching his fingers. I mean how much money will we lose just by getting relegated compared to a few new signings. And then there is the value drop of the club if in the championship.
I wouldn't be surprised if he's cutting up his mattress now to find a few hidden pennies...

The lack of forward signings is a total disgrace.

Heads roll at other clubs for far far less.
Made even more irritating because it was clear last season they needed help which became that much worse when they sold Richarlison. Instead of targeting scorers, they wasted money on midfielders with no track record of goals and settled for Maupay as someone that can't play with Calvert-Lewin on the rare occasion he is healthy.

All summer the talk on here was "where are they going to get goals?" And then predictably they can't score goals. If a bunch of us idiots on message boards can see the problem, how stupid are the people actually getting players?

The total cost in transfer fees of Brighton’s four goal scorers last night is less than the amount of money we paid them for Maupay.

How to successfully run a football club compared to how to successfully run one into the ground. How have our scouting network failed in the last 5 years been able to identify any kind of player who offers value for money who would give us the creativity and goal scoring threat our team desperately needs. It’s beyond incompetent.
