Does make me laugh at how Sandro always gets lumped in with the other yard dogs. Waste of money? Yes hopeless at football? Yes but the fella only cost 6 million
Wasn't he on about 100k p/w though?

They all are/were that we signed! And he didn't even see out the contract. The Walcott and tosun deals were far worse that yearWasn't he on about 100k p/w though?
I’m putting 2 bets onOdds on Orsic hitting a worldy against us at Goodison.
TBF he was blatantly taken out very cynically by that invisible ghost. Penalty all day long! Stone waller.Yep a 6 million pound bargain.

We have to get a playmaker in. There was a stat somewhere that we won possession of Brighton 7 times in their third of the pitch and they won it 0 times in ours yet scored 4. We don’t have the quality to make the most of those opportunities. Winning the ball back that many times in that area of the pitch should lead to goals- but it isn’t, so that is clearly a weakness.
Yeah it’s not like there’s 2 relegation 6 pointers coming up this month we need to win.No rush lads. Take your time, window has only been open 5 days, no one does any business this early into the window.
Lincoln or Sheffield Wednesday?
Expensive deal overall though. Probably cost us about £20m all in, for virtually no return at all. Some others might have cost £40- £50m all in but at least offered some sort of meaningful contribution to the team so relatively speaking they’re in the same ballpark.Does make me laugh at how Sandro always gets lumped in with the other yard dogs. 20m all in is the worst case scenario though. He spent 6 months at the club and the rest on loan for 2 and a half years, you'd have to think the loans he went on clubs were picking up at least half of the wages. Sevilla definitely so and that's without if them or sociedad paid a feeExpensive deal overall though. Probably cost us about £20m all in, for virtually no return at all. Isco is available on a free, give him a 1 year contract. We have to get a playmaker in. Very much doubt there was a fee considering how desperate we were to get rid and don’t remember one being mentioned, certainly after the Sevilla one. He also obviously didn’t just walk away from his contract, he’ll have had severance pay. So if we say he was on £100k a week and we paid that for 6 months then 4 1/2 years at £50k that’d be £15m, plus the transfer fee on top. So it’s not really worst case, because it’s possible we were paying all or at least more than half his wages (I doubt Valladolid we’re paying him £50k a week).20m all in is the worst case scenario though. I’m sure Moshiri will think that’s a good ideaIsco is available on a free, give him a 1 year contract.
