For those that are talking about moffi, his club values him at 30 millions euros plus...2 offers from England...one is southampton, not sure who the other is. At that price he will be playing football in France for the foreseeable.

That goes for any player we have had links to other than possibly Danny Ings.

Every one is a gamble.

That's thing mate. In our position do we bring in a player who is young and inexperienced, one for the future, or do we bring in a player with prem experience who could do a job for us (as long as it's not a McNeil type ) because in our position we can't afford to take a gamble.

If I was Brereton-Diaz I wouldn't go anywhere near us at the moment. I've only seen him play twice when he played wide left, getting inside in support of their centre-forward. Full of energy, got up and down the pitch for the team, and has an eye for goal - looked to be full of confidence and enjoying his football in front of fans who adore him.

If we sign him we still need an out and out centre-forward as well. I fear it's the Everton way to sign him and ask him to play a different position - on his own up front - to the one where he's most impressive.

I think he's a free agent in the summer - unless we offer him really silly money he's better off staying where he is until then.

Having said that I'd love us to sign him, preferably with McNeil going the other way in part-exchange!

I always think there's a better chance for us signing a player if they're in the North West. That might be a consideration for him.

I'm not sure he'll be that much in demand by better teams than Everton, tbh. And where would he walk into a club and be guaranteed a PL starting place and grateful for any goals he can muster other than at Everton?

Everton need to get this done, and add Ings while they're at it.

Personally I would go for players that are scoring / assisting regularly now , even from a foreign league rather than experienced Prem players that are not playing and indeed would need time to get up to the pace of a heavily congested league.

Tough calls ...but something needs to be done ASAP.

The Ouattara boy has some impressive numbers, particularly his defensive work rate. Would be slightly concerned about his dribbling and passing though, pretty shoddy and in the bottom 2% of attacking mids/wingers for pass completion rate.
