Really hope we are in for Ouattara; he's got so much potential. But we should be in for Moffi too. Scrimp, save, beg, borrow. Get those two in and maybe another on loan and it should be enough for us to stay up.

Then if we do, in the summer we should be in for le Fee at Lorient too. Those 3 are just brilliant and young.

However, this is Everton so: Outtara will go to Leicester and Moffi will go to Saints and keep them up at our expense!

In our situation I'd prefer someone with a more proven record. Ideally we do want to be signing young players with potential, but we kind of need goals right away. We also have Simms and Cannon already as young prospects.

I'd like more pace obviously than those two, but I do think we need to be looking at short term rather than long term options. We don't want to splash cash on older players, but I think they are our best shot right now. I don't think signing 20 year old kids who will need lots of time is the way forward in our position right now.

Players with experience AND goals will come at a premium cost, something I don't think we have.
