Perhaps, although we look like a sure bet with him here anyway.

Drastic times may call for drastic measures and that would certainly be one I wouldn't be adverse to taking if the financial are sound and allow us to bring in some much needed firepower.

The club definitely won't entertain any offers this window so it's completely moot. I think all roads lead to him leaving for a song in summer when our negotiating position is hammered by his contract running down and possibly our league status diminishing.

You’re right, but that’s exactly what they do, and they have done for some time. We’re not allowed to give the delicate little urchins any grief.

So fed up of making excuses for these frauds, and for having to whip ourselves into a frenzy welcoming the coach to put a rocket up their arses. Look how good the away fans are and they get bugger all in return from the players.

I’ll be there on Saturday well before the match, but it’s a pee take that we’re back here again.

We need some attacking players in now, never mind for the team, just to give us fans a little lift.
 

I just want us to buy a player that can actually play football. Not this good honest professional (but offers nothing beyond average to the team and usually an overpriced cast off from another PL club) but a proper baller who enjoys getting on the ball. We've a right phobia when it comes to looking for creative players and have done our very best over the years to get rid of any player with a hint of creativity or ball playing skills.

He wanted out when we were flirting with Europe, he'd hate it here now.
Besides, I'm sick of us getting other club's cast offs that act like they are doing us a favour

I get you, but that lad could easily score the winner on Saturday and that could make all the difference come the end of the season.

What the Everton hierarchy don't seem to understand is that the next two games aren't just six points, they're six pointers. We could really do with some reinforcements because, unfortunately, we're not winning too many games between now and the end of the season. So, when you get two games back to back like this, you need to pick up at least four points, but ideally six.
